Policy-driven Education

Vision

To innovate and inspire the youth of India.

Mission

We are committed to creating a college of excellence, where we inspire the young to get a technical education at an affordable cost and to provide placement opportunities, which will enhance the innovative thinking within the pupil in order to make the young India, ‘A Skilled India’.

In the context of emerging new educational policy across the globe and in India, Don Bosco Polytechnic College continues to give quality education to the less privileged students. This institute continues to offer the best to the least as Don Bosco did. I would like to present our mission at Focus in three major maxims.

1. Centre of Technical Excellence

  • To facilitate a competitive curriculum accepted and demanded by the industry.
  • To provide state of art facilities for enhancing skills in the field of latest Technology with standard machineries and to provide hands on training.
  • To conduct short-term courses to enhance the skills of the students to match the advancing market demand. In keeping with the needs of the current scenario, the students are provided courses on current skilled technology.
  • To associate and partner with the industry and institutions in India and abroad for the welfare of the staff and students.

The nucleus of our college is the inclusion of industrial collaboration in skilling the students with the industrial standards. Teach the challenges and opportunities present in the industry in order to raise their standard of living in the company, be it private or public sectors. We identify the future demands and have the open mindedness and courage to develop new innovation and to accept limitless opportunities present in the different streams. The college is in collaboration with national and international esteemed industries in offering additional certificate programs.

2. Reliability and Responsibility

  • To materialize and to understand the concept & applications in the field of Engineering and technology and to pursue lifelong learning & earning in the global industries.
  • To excel and to advance as experts with the high level of professional standards & ethics in the competitive industries.
  • To become multifaceted technicians and to excel in the interdisciplinary branches in order to meet the modern technology demands. So that they are updated and not outdated in the market.
  • Recognize the need for and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and lifelong learning in the broadest context of technological revolutions.

Our training calls for excellent quality standards relying on the latest technology and being responsible for the evolutions of the technology. Every student calls to meet the latest challenges present in the industry and to keep open mindedness to acquire and assimilate growing technology. We keep our promises and personally ensure that the demands of our students, staff, partners and colleagues are fulfilled in the course of the year.

3. Passion for Innovation

We love what we do. Challenges inspire innovation. Innovation gives birth to creativity. Creativity is a sign of high intelligence. Everybody is eager to fulfill their personal potential and to explore new horizons. We dedicate and prepare specialists in the respective field and are passionate and demand to perform well in the field of study. The biggest drive is our passion for innovative technologies. The students, our staff and industrialists achieve with joint success. Therefore, one cannot claim to be top of the world or celebrate the victory alone. It is a joint venture of our college and we take pride in it. We take pride in forming the young to be independent entrepreneurs. We recognize good performance and celebrate extraordinary success. We wish to hear such success stories in the near future.

With this, we make every “Impossible to I ’am’ ‘possible’”. We make them self independent and self-reliant in society. It gives full formation of the human being in all their development. We wish all the students to foster such virtues and character in the formation of a developed human. The presence of God in their lives should be felt and given at most importance so that the self formation can take place and can be completed. We entrust to almighty the good works begun in us may bring it to completion.

The Dimension of education to the faith

Education to faith in various religious and cultural contexts involves a diversified process of education in values, openness to transcendence, interreligious and ecumenical dialogue. We educate the faith through the means of the personal and institutional witness, the welcome, the open dialogue and the climate of freedom.

This dimension is also a journey of growth and education to the faith for also those who know the Gospel and the person of Jesus, want to deepen their faith and reach a level of religious formation equivalent to the other dimensions of their formative process: scientific, professional, social and cultural.

The Educational and cultural dimension

As mentioned above, the Salesian educational-pastoral model is distinguished by an inseparable relationship between evangelising action and educational action. While the former offers a horizon and a broader sense of purpose to the latter, the latter becomes a mediation to make the Gospel transform into life and concrete culture.

Education includes the growth of all the dimensions of the person, from personal to relational, professional, social and religious. The integration of all these dimensions through the curriculum guarantees the coherence of pedagogical proposals and educational resources for the educational and pastoral purpose and institutional mission.

The social experience dimension

This dimension in the campus includes the ability to establish positive relationships with others, to have a journey, to work and to grow together.

This dimension takes on a privileged space in the group experience with the itinerary of formation and educational-pastoral action that it supposes. The journey made together leads to living and witnessing the experience of the Church. The associative proposal The social experience proposal is a fundamental feature of Salesian education and evangelization. This is why we are called to: promote and accompany the associations within our institutions; to foster collaboration among the various student groups and associations, especially those of a religious or pastoral nature; stimulate the participation of students in exchanging moments, encourage various volunteer experiences, associations or organizations at national or international level to help them open up to dialogue and collaboration with young people and people of other cultures and religions; fostering the entrepreneurship of young people; think of the group experience as a learning methodology that helps to overcome the individualistic and competitive models.

The vocational dimension

As indicated in the Salesian Youth Ministry, Frame of Reference, "The three earlier dimensions converge on this one, the ultimate horizon, reference point of our ministry. The aim is to accompany each young person as they go about discovering their vocation, which is the place where the individual responds to the free and unconditional love that God has for him or her". This assumes the understanding of this dimension as the process of reaching personal, social, and political and faith options, inspired by ethical values of the Gospel in the style of Don Bosco.

The awareness of the value of one's own life and its meaning as a project wished by God can only be achieved through the adequate accompaniment of the young person throughout his formative journey, particularly in the moments of transition and insertion in the university environment and in the world of professional work. This is made specific in the processes of vocational, professional and job-training orientation aimed at students, but also at graduates in the years of consolidation of their professional identity.

The vocational and social commitment dimension implies the totality of the community in the identification and solution of problems in the social contexts in which we are present.
